Description

Figurine of Budai, Chinese monk (historical-mythological figure, 10th century) who is revered in a branch of Buddhism as Maitreya Buddha, i.e. Buddha of the Future. He is always depicted fat and smiling. Here and with characteristically elongated ear lobes.
