Description
Illustration of the church of Panagia Chalkeon in Thessaloniki. The east and north sides of the church are rendered. Arches, semi-columns and three domes can be seen. On the left, a small dry tree. In the sky on either side of the domes, two clouds. Masonry and architectural decoration are meticulously rendered with fine design. The stepped frames of the arched windows and domes, as well as the roofs, can be seen. The architectural type of the cruciform inscribed is recognizable.
