Description
This particular composition is a still life of three medium-sized helical striped shells, of which the middle one and the right one (as viewed by the viewer) have been placed facing upwards, thus allowing us to see part of their interior. The three sherds are mounted on a light-colored, strongly pleated fabric. The strong shadings can be seen both on the geometrically rendered fabric, which goes back to the cubist influences of Angelos Theodoropoulos, and on the shells.
