Description
Standing female figure with a head shaped from laurel leaves (the nymph Daphne during her transformation). Her posture is reminiscent of a figura serpentinata. The right leg is slightly in front of the left and the right hand rests on the right hip. The left hand is raised high and rests on her head, forming an angle. The base is integrated into the sculpture and made of the same material.
