Description
Angelos Theodoropoulos creates a still life in an interior space, placing a vase with plant decoration to the left (as seen by the viewer) of the composition, while fish can also be seen. To the right of the decorative container, four leather-bound books are lined up vertically with their backs facing the viewer, while on the first level to the right of the engraving composition is a fifth book with its pages open. All six of these objects are placed on a cloth with geometric formations. The cubist influences of the artist are evident, while the influence of D. Galani’s album with four cubist still lifes should not be considered impossible.
