Description
At the bottom of the composition is a sea, while a line in the background indicates the horizon. In the sky, which occupies most of the composition, birds and hybrid forms of man-bird fly. The composition closes in the upper part with the representation of the Ascension. In the center is depicted the Buddha, on the left a figure with oriental features, holding a scroll, and on the right a hermaphrodite figure with wings. The Buddha wears a crown, smokes a pipe and holds a cigarette in his right hand.
