The painter Georgios Merianos was born in 1992 in Marousi, Athens. In 2015 he graduated from the Department of Fine and Applied Arts of the School of Fine Arts, University of Western Macedonia, and holds master’s degrees in Museology and Cultural Management from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2017) and in Special Education from Frederick University, Cyprus (2025). Since 2017, he has worked as an art teacher in primary education, secondary special education, and as an adult educator in Second Chance Schools and municipal art workshops.
He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and the Artists Association of Central Greece. His works are included in private and public collections in Greece and Italy. In 2025, he was awarded the Third Prize in a nationwide painting competition organized by the literary magazine Kefalos.
He has held two solo exhibitions in Lamia and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Greece, Cyprus, Albania, Slovenia, Italy, and Germany.
