Adriana Jadranka Maraž (1931 – 2015)
Biography
Adriana Jadranka Maraž was a Slovene graphic artist. She was born in Ilirska Bistrica and studied painting and graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana under the guidance of Professor Maksim Sedej. She participated in important international printmaking exhibitions and received major distinctions, including the Jakopič Award and the Prešeren Fund Award. Her work is distinguished by its restrained yet deeply poetic visual language and the sensitivity of its compositions.
