The painter and iconographer Eirene (Irene) Soulounia was born in Triandria, Thessaloniki. She lives and works in Thessaloniki.
She has published prose and poetry collections (“Towards Marabou” and “Short Poems”).
She designed the cover for the poetry anthology of the Writers’ Union of Northern Greece.
She teaches painting classes to adults.
She has held eight solo painting exhibitions in various regions of Greece and has participated in numerous group exhibitions.
She is a member of the New Writers’ Movement, the Amphictyony of Hellenism, and the Music Society of Northern Greece.
She has received awards from cultural and scientific institutions in Thessaloniki.
