Painter Kostis Paschalis was born in 1912 in Athens, where he passed away in 1992.
His father was a painter and a freehand drawing professor, from whom he received his first lessons. He pursued independent painting studies for 13 years in France and Italy.
He presented his work in solo exhibitions in Athens and Nicosia, and in group exhibitions in Athens (e.g., Panhellenic exhibitions in 1963, 1965, 1967, 1969, 1971, 1973, 1975), Thessaloniki, Nicosia, Paris, Monte Carlo (where he received an honorable mention in 1969), Chicago, and elsewhere.
His works can be found in the National Gallery, the Ministry of Culture, the Vorres Museum, the State Gallery of Nicosia, the Ethnarchy of Cyprus, and other collections in Greece and abroad.
