Natsi Kleio (1929 – 2024)

Biography

The painter Clio Natsi was born in 1929 in Thessaloniki, where she also passed away in 2024.
She studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts under Yiannis Moralis (1948–1950) and continued her training at the studio of Polykleitos Reggos in Thessaloniki.
She presented her work in solo and group exhibitions, including the Salon de l’Art Libre (1969, where she won a cash prize, and 1973, when she was honored with the silver medal), the Alexandria Biennale (1972), and UNESCO exhibitions (1978), among others. In 1989, at the joint exhibition organized by the Municipality of Paris for the bicentennial of the Storming of the Bastille, her artwork won the silver medal (First Prize) and was selected for the official exhibition poster.
Alongside her visual art creation, Clio Natsi also engaged in poetry and book illustration.
