Description
Photograph of a print by Zizi Makri, b&w, photographic paper, 23.5×17.5 cm. The woodcut is inspired by female criminal inmates who she met when she was a political prisoner at the Averof Prisons in Athens (July 1960 – May 1961). It was featured in her solo exhibition at Zygos Gallery in Athens (13/12/1963 – 02/01/1964). The reverse of the photograph bears an inscription with the details of the artwork.
